A going church for a coming Christ!

 Are You Ready

Why do we need to be saved?

A Christians' response is to know that there is a Love in such abundance that one person no matter how lowly or great, will not have to feel lonely, lost, and without direction.  Is this you?   Maybe not, How about this then  --  are you big, tuff, or full of pride and everything is going just great  --  or is it?  Isn't there still emptiness?  Isn't it sad that you cannot find any peace?  You may not be able to rest.  You may think that satisfaction is in an another drink or another fix.  Maybe you need to be the center of attention or control things and people.
What if I tell you that Jesus is the cure to all that and even what is not in the paragraph above.  Your situation maybe different or worse.

This is how you can be saved and receive Jesus:

To Salvation!

A -- ADMIT that YOU are a sinner.

Everyone has done things that are displeasing to a Holy God.

Romans 3:23

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Revelation 21:7

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

B -- BELIEVE that Jesus died on the cross for YOU.

Jesus shed his blood to save YOU from YOUR sins. He took YOUR place on the cross, and suffered punishment for YOUR sin.

1 Peter 2:24

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Colossians 1:14

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Acts 16:31

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

C -- CONFESS your sinfulness to God, and turn from it.

Tell God you're sorry for your sins and that you believe in Jesus and accept Him as your Savior from sin. This may be a simple but sincere cry from your heart, or it may be expressed out loud.

Luke 18:13

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

Romans 10:13

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

When you do this (and mean it!) you are "Saved."
You, along with all the others who believe in Jesus,
will spend eternity in heaven with Him.

IF YOU BELIEVE YOU NEED JESUS CHRIST
IN YOUR LIFE, SAY THIS PRAYER:

Dear Jesus,
I admit that I am a sinner.  I believe that you died on the cross for me, and I ask you to come into my life, and I ask you to be my Lord forever, and I thank you for raising the third day. I love you Lord Jesus, I lay my life down before you as your child to serve you forever, in your Jesus name AMEN

IF YOU SAID THIS PRAYER AND MEANT IT. GOD BLESS YOU! THIS IS YOUR DAY OF SALVATION, YOUR NAME HAS BEEN WRITTEN IN THE LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE.  REJOICE AND TELL SOMEONE THAT YOU ACCEPTED CHRIST AND NOW YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH CHRIST.

NOW THAT YOUR A CHRISTIAN
YOU MAY ASK NOW WHAT DO I DO?

READ THE BIBLE

Romans 10:17

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

PRAY TO GOD

Philippians 4:6-7

6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

SEEK TO BE BAPTIZED

John 3:5

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
